What the outsourced Intelliflo paraplanning experience looks like. Workflow, document assembly, QA checks and SLA expectations.

This article is part of our Intelliflo Paraplanning service. For a broader look at how Intelliflo fits within the platforms we support, see our software capabilities overview.
The general outsourced paraplanning service model is covered in Our Standard Paraplanning Process. This article covers what is specifically different when your engagement runs through Intelliflo.
Your Felcorp paraplanner logs into your Intelliflo instance and works directly within your file structure. There is no file export, no external document assembly and no re-import.
Everything happens inside your Intelliflo environment:
Intelliflo's strategy modelling tools and product research capabilities are still being developed. They are functional but not yet as comprehensive as Xplan or AdviserLogic. For jobs that need deep modelling or extensive product comparison, the paraplanner may use external research tools alongside Intelliflo. As the platform continues to ship features at its current pace, these gaps are narrowing.
SOAs can be prepared using Intelliflo's in-platform document tools or assembled using external Word templates. Intelliflo's document generation system is still maturing. Some practices find the in-platform tools sufficient for straightforward advice. Others extract data from Intelliflo and build the final document in Word.
Felcorp works with whichever approach your practice uses. For Word-based workflows, the paraplanner extracts data and strategy outputs from Intelliflo and assembles the advice document in your Word template. Verification against the brief catches data errors before they reach the adviser.
Felcorp's standard QA process applies to all files before handback. On Intelliflo engagements, the QA review includes additional checks:
SLAs are calibrated during the trial period based on your actual case mix and volume. Early turnaround times on Intelliflo may run slower than Xplan or AdviserLogic. This reflects platform maturity, not paraplanning capability. SLA targets are set with this ramp-up factored in.
For the full turnaround breakdown by complexity, see Our Standard Paraplanning Process. For SLA structures, see Felcorp SLA Options.
Intelliflo is cloud-based with no VPN required. Your practice provisions a dedicated user seat for the Felcorp paraplanner with appropriate permissions before access begins.
Once the account is provisioned, the onboarding covers template mapping, workflow preferences and licensee requirements. Intelliflo's onboarding takes slightly longer than other platforms due to extra template discovery and workflow mapping. For the full setup guide, see Getting Started with Outsourced Intelliflo Paraplanning.
Yes. Intelliflo uses dedicated user seats, so your practice provisions a separate account. This gives you full control over permissions, visibility and audit trails.
Yes, with context. Intelliflo is operational and Felcorp delivers paraplanning on it today. The platform handles core advice production workflows. Where it falls short compared to Xplan or AdviserLogic is in the depth of strategy modelling tools and advice workflow sequencing. These areas are developing rapidly. For practices already running Intelliflo, outsourcing paraplanning works.
Yes. Where Intelliflo's built-in tools do not cover what is needed, the paraplanner uses external research and modelling tools and feeds the outputs back into Intelliflo. This is documented in the SOP so the workflow is consistent. As Intelliflo's native tools develop, the need for external supplements will reduce.
If you are unsure whether paraplanning is the right fit, see Help me choose which paraplanner I need for a breakdown of the different service models and how they map to your workload.
Felcorp offers dedicated adviser admin support as a separate service area. For help deciding what you need, see Help me choose which admin support I need.
